Let God Handle the Haters

Hey Guys...

It seems I am facing some adversity and a couple of people are trying to test the Jesus in me. Ya’ll, the struggle is real!

I want to take this moment of frustration and be transparent with you. On part one of my story I uploaded to YouTube, I received a couple of comments from someone bitter about my past. My first thoughts were not very Christ like. This person didn’t know me on a personal level. She has no idea about my journey, where I’ve come from, where I am, or where I’m going. I thought, “Oooo... I should tell her let’s handle it like men and take it outside!” I was not in a happy place! Instead, I blocked her and her comments went away.

You know what? The enemy will use whoever and whatever he can to tear us down and destroy us. Sometimes it’s through a stranger... It could be through an accident or illness... Perhaps he will use those closest too us. Other times, he may use that bitter person who cannot see beyond their own selfish desires and just want to take others down the misery coaster with them. Whoever or whatever he uses, we can’t let him win.

The point is, my flesh wanted to give this person a piece of my mind (not the good pieces) and I wanted to ask her where in her right mind did she come up with such things. Had I gave into that, the enemy would have won. The Word tells us to be angry and sin not. Anger is not a sin in itself. It’s what we do with it that determines the truth behind who we are.

One more thing, When God is moving in your life, expect the attacks to come! God has called you to do great things. Don’t give up! Don’t give in! Just keep moving forward confidently on the path God has designed for you!

Today, I challenge you to look at your adversities with new perspective. You know who you are. God knows who you are. What others say about you or who they think you are is irrelevant in the grander scheme of things. Be true to yourself and let God handle the haters!
